1 ½ hours from the ♥ of Chicago

Enjoy this beautiful 37-acre property featuring walking paths thru old wood forests, 2-acre pond and plentiful flora and fauna. Reconnect with nature to restore your mind, body and soul with women from all walks of life.
From Chicago it’s very simple! If you download the Waze program, it will provide accurate directions, whereas GoogleMaps provides strangely complex directions. Don’t heed them! It should take 1.5 hours or less if you don’t hit rush hour traffic. Please take the very direct route of 290W to 88W, at Sugar Grove take 56W that flows into 30W. Continue on 30W until you approach a 4-way stop sign at the intersection of routes 30W and 23. Make a left onto 23S and travel 7 miles, then make a right onto Suydam Road (sign for camping just before intersection) and travel 6 miles until you see sign for Stonehouse Farm on right. Make right into driveway, and drive up to the General Store, a one-story wooden structure painted barn red. You can’t miss it!

Where Rustic Living Meets Pure Comfort

You don’t have to be a seasoned camper to appreciate the joys of outdoor living. At Stonehouse Farm, we offer an alternative to traditional tent camping, so that every guest can connect with nature at their own pace. Our “glamping” option provides you with a hassle-free way to sleep under the stars. Your tent is equipped with a cozy inflatable mattress and sheets, a personal lantern, a place to charge your phone, and a welcome gift bag filled with outdoor essentials, including hand sanitizer and bug spray. A shower house with plumbing is also available for the campers’ use and comfort. We do ask that you provide your own sleeping equipment during your stay.
